These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lanhy — the marketplace app and website (together, the "Service") that lets buyers and sellers list, discover, and arrange the sale of products directly with each other. By creating an account or using Lanhy, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Lanhy is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users, we don't own, inspect, or take possession of any listed item, and we don't process payments on your behalf. Lanhy is a pay-on-delivery / arrange-directly marketplace: buyers and sellers agree on delivery/pickup and payment terms between themselves (typically via WhatsApp, Call or In-app messaging, using the contact details a seller provides), and Lanhy is not responsible for the accuracy of any listing, the conduct of any user, or the outcome of any transaction.

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in Nigeria to use Lanhy. Lanhy is a Nigeria-only marketplace: accounts, listings and phone numbers must be Nigerian, and all prices are in naira (₦). You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

When using Lanhy, you agree not to:

• List counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or prohibited items
• Post content that is obscene, hateful, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the Service's security or content-screening features
• Use the Service for spam, fraud, or to scrape/harvest other users' data
• Post reviews for items or transactions you did not actually complete

Uploaded images are automatically screened for nudity/sexual content before publishing, and we may remove any content or account that violates these Terms, at our discretion.

You keep ownership of the listings, photos, posts, and other content you post. By posting it, you grant Lanhy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Service (for example, showing your listing in search results or a recommendations feed). You're solely responsible for making sure you have the right to post what you post, and that your listing is accurate — the item's condition, description, and price are your responsibility as the seller.

Placing an order through Lanhy records your interest and shares your contact/delivery details with the seller — it is not a payment. Buyers should inspect an item before paying on delivery. Unless a listing says otherwise, items are returnable within 7 days of confirmed delivery, and electronics carry a 7-day warranty from delivery; a seller may mark an individual listing as non-returnable, which is shown on that listing. Refund/return requests are handled directly between buyer and seller through the order's return-request flow in the app — Lanhy does not guarantee, insure, or enforce the outcome of any return or refund.

Creating an account, listing items, and buying/selling on Lanhy is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future (for example, promoted listings), the price and terms will be clearly shown before you're charged anything.

If something goes wrong with another user or a transaction, use the in-app Report or Dispute feature so we can review it. We may suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly generate valid reports, but resolving a disagreement over a specific transaction (refund, item condition, delivery) is primarily between the buyer and seller involved.

The Lanhy name, logo, and the Service's own design and code are owned by Lanhy and may not be used without permission. Nothing here transfers any Lanhy intellectual property to you.

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lanhy is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction between users, the quality or safety of any listed item, or any interaction you have with another user — those risks are between the buyer and seller. Always meet in safe locations and use good judgment when completing an in-person, pay-on-delivery transaction.

You can delete your account at any time (see our Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud, or puts other users at risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Lanhy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
